Our Philosophy

Quality

There are no details overlooked in any job, no matter how minor or major the work being delivered may be. We provide advice on all aspects of repairs and services which would benefit your vessel operation, including preventative maintenance. We don't cut corners and our focus is to achieve optimal performance and longevity of your vessel.

Accuracy

The quality of our work is of the highest standard, with a strong focus on accuracy. Our fully qualified Marine mechanics take pride in their work and care about every detail of the job. We understand the pride you have in your asset and we aim to build lasting relationships with our customers. As a small business we rely on referrals, therefore our solid reputation is essential.

With detailed inspections on more complicated services, we aim to provide as accurate as possible quotes upfront and ensure regular communication with additional information as it arises.

Problem solving

We thrive on being presented with problems to solve, no matter how complex. We derive great satisfaction from the successful completion of a project, particularly if it has presented challenges along the way.

Communication

At Ocean Marine Engineering we’re passionate about providing exceptional customer service with effective communication from initial enquiries through to completion of the work. We understand the benefits of clear, regular, effective communication, ensuring customer satisfaction. The quality of our work speaks for itself, we also seek to go above and beyond with our communication.

Passion

We are a business which has been built from a passion for vessel operation and the intricacies of how they run. The founder of Ocean Marine Engineering, Alex, has grown up on boats; from being strapped to the flybridge of his parent’s boats as a baby, to teenage years tinkering with engines and remodeling or rebuilding his own vessels in his spare time.

This fortunately has led to a career spanning over 12 years in marine mechanics with various qualifications gained along the way, but most importantly hands on experience on some extremely complex engines.

Not many people are fortunate enough to know what they want to do ‘when they grow up’ but for Alex there was never any doubt that this is the direction he would go.
